If you are like a lot of people, the summer is the only time that you get to put your feet up, and enjoy some good old tv watching! Well, you are in luck because some of your favorite shows are back and sisters are commanding the screen! Whether it is drama you love or you’re in it for the giggles, we’ve got you covered.

The Ms. Pat Show, (BET+, Season 4)  - May 23

This popular comedy is based on the real life story of comedian Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams, and will have you laughing out loud again! Patricia, who plays Ms. Pat, based on herself and her own life experiences as a mother and a convicted felon, brings out the undeniable humor that is often found in everyday, relatable occurrences. With a number of comedian appearances on the show, you will certainly be entertained. The show has been nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series in 2022 and 2023. If laughter is what you’re after, check out Ms. Pat!

The Bear - (Hulu, Season 3) - June 27

Do not watch this show on an empty stomach. You have been warned! You will want to savor every moment of the third season of this delightfully stressful, and surprisingly inspiring show featuring actress Ayo Edebiri who plays the everso charming Sydney Adamu, a very talented sous-chef. Ayo is spectacular in this role that garnered her both a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. All 10 episodes of The Bear season 3 will be available starting June 27. So settle in and see what The Bear is serving up this summer!

Power Book II: Ghost (Starz, Final Season) - June 7

It is finally here, the final season of Power Book II: Ghost. That means this is your last chance to see Mary J. Blige as the hard-hitting, no nonsense Monet Tejada. We never know what we are going to get with Mary’s tough, unsparing character, and that is what we love about her. The mother of three who is always dressed to the nines and always scheming, will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. With this being the final season, anything can happen!

Queenie (Hulu, Season 2) - June 7

It’s time to go back across the pond to see what Queenie has gotten herself into now! Queenie Jenkins, the Jamaican British woman played by Dionne Brown, is trying her best to live the life she wants in London while still maintaining her Jamaican culture. Queenie makes all sorts of wild decisions that lead to cringy mistakes, but she always seems to get up and dust herself off. Actress Dionne Brown has done an amazing job bringing Queenie, the beloved character from Candice Carty-Williams’ best-selling novel, to the screen. We can’t wait to see what new shenanigans Queenie manages to get into this season!

Bridgerton, (Netflix, Season 3, Part 2) - June 13

Part 2 of Bridgerton season 3 is upon us! We don’t fancy waiting, so luckily we didn’t have to wait too long. Our favorite British sisters Adjoa Andoh and Golda Rosheuvel are back, and they will no doubt be draped in the finest of garments that will have us swooning all over again. Tell the friends who you love to have a good kiki with, that it is time to tune in and watch these conspiring ladies sip tea and spill it, too!
