The leaves are still green. We’re spending more time on the patio and less in the family room. But before we know it, it will be time to fall into our fuzzy socks, get our favorite throw blanket and our hot cider and enjoy a cornucopia of autumn entertainment! Look out for a sale on popcorn so you can stock up now. Here’s what we are looking forward to viewing:

The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat

A few of your favorite actresses, Uzo Aduba, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Sanaa Lathan star in the must-see adaptation of Edward Kelsey Moore's novel, The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat. This heartwarming film is all about decisions, consequences, and life-long friendships among women. Although the trio, who call themselves the Supremes, are a group, their individual lives leads each in a different direction. These aren’t plot points we’re likely to see coming. (Hulu) August 23

Terry McMillan Presents: Forever

Terry McMillan has teamed up with Lifetime, and the network will air a series of movies by the iconic storyteller. Two very familiar and talented actors, sexy Taye Diggs and sultry Meagan Good star in Forever, about a husband who returns home from military duty only to find divorce papers instead of loving open arms. The last thing that he expects is to be intrigued by the local police officer Carlie (played by Good) who pulls him over for speeding. As his affections grow, he strives to win her heart, and that of her three daughters. But Carlie needs someone who is not hung up on past hurts. Can Johnnie be who Carlie needs and learn what true love and family really is? Tune in to find out! (Lifetime) August 24

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist

This intriguing, jaw-dropping story is based on the true-crime podcast of the same name. Hollywood heavy hitters such as Kevin Hart, Don Cheadle, Taraji P. Henson, and Samuel L. Jackson, to name a few, came out to be a part of this limited series about one of Muhammed Ali’s fight nights. On the same night as an afterparty attended by the who’s who, one of Atlanta’s boldest heists takes place. This is a limited series that you won’t want to end! (Peacock) September 5

Poppa’s House

Poppa’s House is a new comedy with a family feel that stars real-life father and son Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans, Jr. Both comedians are veteran sitcom TV actors whose respective comedy projects we have enjoyed for decades. They are back, this time together, to give us some weekly laughs. The elder comedian stars as Poppa, a podcaster and father to his real-life son, Damon Wayans, Jr., who seeks to balance his passion and his own young family. Humorous shenanigans ensue when Poppa gets a new female co-host who challenges him. This professional pairing as well as the real-life father and son duo is sure to make for some side-splitting good tv watching time! (CBS) October 21
